There will be no Home Learning activities for this last week of term. Instead we are inviting the children to take part in a ‘Lockdown Sports Day’! Click on the link below for details of how to participate.
Dear Parent/Carer,
We hope you are all keeping well and are coping during these unprecedented times.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the children who have completed learning tasks set over the course of this week. We have been delighted at receiving so many wonderful pieces of work and commend each and every one of the children for their achievements.
We strongly believe it is important that the children are rewarded for working hard and that their successes are celebrated. As an incentive for the children who engage in weekly home learning activities, 1 Dojo point will be awarded for every task successfully completed. A further 2 bonus Dojo’s will be awarded for 10 tasks completed and an additional 3 bonus Dojo’s will be awarded for the completion of all 15 tasks. A total of 20 Dojo points will be on offer every week.
On return to school, all children who regularly submit completed pieces of work will be presented with a certificate in acknowledgement of their commitment to learning. Furthermore, staff are in the process of discussing additional rewards to celebrate the children’s effort and hard work.
We recognise that we are currently living in difficult times but appreciate everything you are doing to support and encourage your children to participate in regular home learning activities.

Key Stage 2 Staff
Dear Parents/Carers,
We hope you and your family are well. This is a letter to give you some information on how we are going to provide educational tasks for your child to complete at home during this unprecedented time.
Every week, children in Year 3 and 4 will have 15 tasks to complete throughout the week. The tasks will be split up into areas of learning/subjects. They will have 3 Maths, English, Topic, Creative and ICT/PE tasks to complete every week. The tasks will be emailed to your child’s Hwb account every Monday and we will also send you the tasks via Class Dojo, as well as posting them on the school website in our class areas.
The children will complete the tasks on Hwb (using Jit) and save them to their account or will complete them on paper or practically at home. You can send us photos via email or on Class Dojo if you want to share your child’s work with us.
Please remember that we are not putting pressure on you to complete every single task every week. They will be there as guidance for you and to help your child maintain their skills levels whilst they are not in school. Do what you can.
